RDYSL Board Meeting Minutes

Monday, March 9,  2009, 7 to 9 PM

JCC, 1200 Edgewood Avenue

Present:  Mary Arter, Beth Guzzetta, Mark VanDellon, Dave Peishel, Lou Boyon, Jacky VanDellon, George Hebert.

Called to order:  7:05 PM

1—Feedback from coaches’ meetings:  No significant issues.  Some people had difficulty finding the correct rooms—better directions for next year?  Ten coaches were no-shows and will be fined.  Packets can be picked up from Dave (for his age group) or Mary (all others).  Update:  As of 3/23/09, four packets still not picked up.  Will mail at clubs’ expense.

2—Division creation improvement opportunities:  Mark described potential upgrades to data given to DCs (e.g. records going further back in time).  Please provide Mark feedback on additional data that would help you (see Mark’s E-mail from week of March 2).

3—Pre-season game changes:  Reviewed process.

4—Games at Rhinos Stadium:  Mary will follow up with Jim on progress here.

5—Other:  Jacky described a situation with a team that neglected to register during team registration.  We agreed that the team cannot register after the deadline, but we will review the applicable rule post-season and decide if changes are needed to allow late registration for legitimate errors.
